Essence of Christmas

It’s the most wonderful time of the year again. The season to be jolly, the season of joy, giving and peace. The atmosphere is filled with laughter and you can feel the love in the air. The streets are lit up with the lights from every home.

During this time of the year, the sky is filled with stars that light up the night and people are walking and singing Christmas songs. The cold breeze of December is also felt by everyone. This is the time when the essence of Christmas is discovered and felt.

For me, the essence of Christmas is the happiness and the joy that is felt during this season. Every person’s face is filled with a wonderful smile and they don’t worry about their problems. It’s the season to celebrate the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ and we celebrate it by spending time with our families and friends. That is the true essence of Christmas

Equallity for Everyone

They say that no man is an island and even if you're lonely sometimes, there will always be a person who will care for you. And men are made to be with women and women are made for men. And together they can do a lot of things like building a family and helping each other to survive. But in today’s time inequality is arising. Independence Day is a day where we celebrate the anniversary of our country’s freedom from the hands of other countries. It is important to celebrate this day because it’s a day that reminds us the day we were freed from colonization. And our country, the Philippines, is important for us to celebrate Philippine Independence Day. The reason is after many years of being slaved and colonized, we were finally free. Philippine Independence is celebrated to remind us that our country is an independent and free country. And it is not governed by other countries. In the first two and a half months of learning with Ma’am Vera Cruz I learned many things. I improved my writing skills when I was writing the activities given by our teacher.
