In the month of July, the school held Nutrition Month Celebration by hosting some activities and contests with relevance to the theme. The TLE and STEP Club hosts a lot of contests such as cooking contest to promote a healthy lifestyle and to eat vegetables, poster making contest to enhance the skills of the students in drawing and coloring, and the a lot more. The highlight of the Nutrition month celebration is the Nutrijingle competition. Every year the TLE and STEP Club hosts a friendly competition involving the nutrition month celebration on the month of July. This competition is called the “Nutrijingle competition”. The students are required to perform song that are self-composed. This competition is a competition in which the students look forward to because it tests their teamwork and competitiveness and the students practice every weekend to try to win in the competition. Every grade level has an elimination in which 3 winners per grade level will battle in the finals. It

I’m a Grade 10 student from Ilocos Sur National High School and I would like to acknowledge the things you are doing in your “War against drugs” campaign.                 I believe that your campaign is having a great start to make our country a “drug-free” country because there are currently a lot of drug pushers in rehabilitation and the so called “drug lords” number is becoming less and less. Although a lot people disagree with your ways because they think it’s brutal and feel that their rights as a person is being violated. I think that this is a good way of lessening the number of drug users and even prevent some people from using drugs.                 In this letter, I hope you can make your campaign better and more fair for the people who are killed.     Independence Day is a day where we celebrate the anniversary of our country’s freedom from the hands of other countries. It is important to celebrate this day because it’s a day that reminds us the day we were freed from colonization. And our country, the Philippines, is important for us to celebrate Philippine Independence Day. The reason is after many years of being slaved and colonized, we were finally free. Philippine Independence is celebrated to remind us that our country is an independent and free country. And it is not governed by other countries. The time our countrymen was being slaved and the time we were finally released from their hands. And that is the reason we celebrate Independence Day. We celebrate it to honor the Filipinos who went through hardships and their sacrifices to free our country. After decades of slavery and hardships, it all ended and our country became a free country.
